RADIOTHON on FROGGY
November 3rd, 2009
6 am to 7 pm
Mr. Froggy was kind enough to host a radiothon to help raise funds for the ranch. This enabled our message to reach many, many more people in a short time that we could have possibly done on our own. There were a lot of fantastic people who called in pledges, donated recyclables and even came in person to donate. We truly appreciate everyone who took time out of their day to help us help the children. Froggy radio is also hosting the ongoing "Kans for Kids" program.
Thank You for all your pledges, keep sending them in.

7:00 p.m. The church had a big send off for the Circuit Riding Preacher!
Day one of trip started out pouring the rain, we considered building an ark!! After all the trailer obstacles, we were finally loaded up and left at 2:00 p.m. arriving at Bible Baptist Church at 4:00 p.m.... still raining, still wish we had built an ark!!! Set up pop up trailer and horse coral. Ate dinner and then prepared for evening service at 6:30. Rain finally let up and I used Uni to preach to around 80 children and 20 adults, our own church people showed up to show support. At 8:20 at the close of the service the Pastor had us come up and gave us a check for $250.00, we received other donations as well. Praise the Lord!!! The Pastor and His wife as well as the church people were very friendly and hospitable, providing our dinner and breakfast the next day.
July 30th
Ride begins at Happy Valley Road 9:00 am.
Petroleum Rail to Trail Head
Prayer Meeting at 7:00 p.m.
Day two of the trip as stated earlier started with breakfast at Shoneys, the Pastor and a few church members from Bible Baptist in Parkersburg were there. We then packed up and head to "Happy Valley". At 10:45a.m., Sister Leslie, Bro. Ken and I started first day of riding 17 miles. Very hot & humid, enjoyed the beauty of nature and wild animals. We met a lot of friendly people along the way. Brother Ken is a wonderful help! We had some trouble with bridges and walked the horses across. We reached 10 mile point at 3:00. The heat and humidity had taken their toll on the horses. Leisa offered to ride the rest of the way (I told her there were no women "Circuit Riding Preachers") at 4:00p.m. Bro. Ken and I start the last 7 miles. Uni is beat but hanging in there. Had to go through a tunnel over 1800 ft., it was misty and foggy, (we won't forget good flashlights next time!!). We arrive in Petroleum at 6:30p.m., I ended up walking 6 miles today. Our church members and some local people showed up, and we had prayer. The local people were very friendly and hospitable. Mr. and Mrs. Fulks were a true blessing, providing us with electricity and a place to park the trailers. We went to bed at 10:00p.m.
July 31st
North Bend State Park
Services held in Pavilion in the park at 7:00 p.m.
At 1:00 a.m. it begins to rain, we thought Wednesday was rainy.... Woke up 6:00a.m., still raining, hard downpour--flash flood warnings. Saddled up in the rain-- left at 8:30a.m.. We're already soaked to the bone. Uni and Micah not sure they want to go--we're not sure ourselves!! It is 10 miles and one tunnel to North Bend State Park. It poured the rain until 11:30 (gortex boots don't help when they fill from the inside!!) Horses were handling the bridges better--actually riding across. REALLY kicking ourselves for not building that ark!! Around 10:00 Leslie realizes she has no feeling in her legs, we take a half an hour break to rest the horses and Leslie to let here regain some feeling. We arrive at the entrance to North bend at noon. 3/4 of a mile to go! Load horses & drive to campsite at 12:30. Campgrounds were very nice, workers are helpful and friendly. (They didn't even charge us for anything!!) Hot showers feel so good!! Church family show up again for prayer. A man from the Ritchie Gazzette comes to do an interview. We had a great time of fellowship--God planned our meeting! We're looking forward to the paper coming out on Wednesday.

He is running more and I actually am doing better than I expected. We rode 12 miles today and made it to West Union at 2:30 p.m., very good time. My crew met us on the trail and Patrick, who has his two children travelling with him took his 8 year old son, Abram through the longest tunnel! Abram was excited to go through a tunnel. Abriann didn't want to go so she got to see a waterfall with Mrs. Leslie. We were met with a wonderful reception and terrific accomodations at Crimson River Baptist Church. There were several people show up for the service and they fed us well after the services! We received a very generous donation!!

Channel 12 showed up to interview us and stayed for several hours(Wboy.com). The interview turned out great. Brother Lloyd was preparing for a children's camp and had several tents set up to accomodate the children. The site made us even more eager to get busy serving children!

Well, Brother Ken had to leave to go to Arizona and I am sure going to miss him, I think Uni will even miss him more! Leslie is riding with me today as well as my daughter Candice, she is riding the bike. Brother Lloyd, his son and the three of us head up the road and out of the holler at about 10:15a.m.. The road is rough and rocky and Candice has a little trouble with the bike, she made it 6 miles though!!! We met a couple from VA. they gave a donation. The trip ends up being 16 miles altogether and the trail got very narrow at times. Leslie made it all the way and we sure were happy to see the church! They also fed us very well and we had a tremendous servous with a very generous donation given to the Ranch. God has been touching people's hearts all along the journey, I couldn't possibly begin to name all the blessings.

Well I got up and started out at about 9:30 this morning, I am on my own today and am looking forward to what God has in store for me today. I am riding up to Spelter, it is 11 miles all together. I rode 2 miles to Rt. 19 and my wife picked me up and trailered me over to Northview, where I picked up the trail to Spelter. It wasn't nearly as nice a trail but I was able to follow it pretty well. Uni and I came to a rocky cliff that we had to go down and then back up. I just told Uni ok boy your going to have to help this old man up and I grabbed ahold of the stirrup and said "Up" and away he went just like it was nothing! Praise the Lord! I arrived to the road just as I saw my wife driving the trailer over the bridge, what perfect timing. We went to Golden Circle and what a blessing we received. God blessed in so many ways. A dear lady with a huge smile came to see Uni and was overjoyed, she wanted to get up on him but we were unable to lift her. She said that she was 87 years young!
August 7th
Trail Head
Across the street from RITE AID.
Shinnston, WV
Services at 7:00 p.m.
The trip from Spelter to Shinnston was definitely a challenge, there were many obstacles and at one point I thought that I lost Uni, he got buried in a swamp up to his saddle blanket. After much coaxing and 15-20 minutes of hard work on Uni's part I was able to get him out! We had to back track a lot to find the way around obstacles and to find the right trail, so I ended up going 14 miles today. I am at the 100 mile mark and I surprisingly am not real sore. God sure has been good. Most importantly I think we have been able to get the word out and some money has been raised! The meeting in Shinnston was no exception, some folks showed up and we were able to meet some very interested people.
August 8th
Mary Lou Retton Park in Fairmont
Picnic and Prayer Meeting
Noon - 7:00 p.m.
We had a great day of meeting people along the way, Leslie went with me today and God let us meet some people who are interested in helping not only financially but physically as well. We arrived at the park with Chanel 5 already there to film us and they had already interviewed Leisa, I think they did a terrific job. Later Chanel 12 came and did an interview as well. PRAISE THE LORD WE MADE IT, 113 MILES TO BE EXACT!! IT IS GOOD TO BE DONE!! So far we have received just over $10,000.00 and that is not including the pledges that haven't come in yet. We are well on our way and are ready for the work ahead of us. There has been many contacts made and good prospects of those wanting to help, the ride was successful in more ways than one. Please keep us in your prayers and continue to support us in any way you can. Thank you all so much for what you have done and what you are going to do!! Remember it's ALL for the CHILDREN!!!!
THE CIRCUIT RIDING PREACHER
A special breed of preacher, whose simple requirements included, "a back for any bed, a stomach for any food and a faith for any work of the LORD." Helping to shape our American heritage, he ministered to the families of the frontier and sometimes to the Indians. He prayed in every cabin, at every campfire, beside every wagon and in every tavern. He preached the Gospel while establishing churches and educational institutions. He was truly a "Man of Faith and Prayer."
OUR CIRCUIT RIDING PREACHER

Saved at age eight, called to preach at twelve and full time in the ministry at eighteen, Pastor Terry Woodside Sr. has preached the gospel from Alaska to Mexico and over half of the United States for thirtysix years. He has been a Pastor, an Evangelist and now is the Pastor of Faith Baptist Church since June, 2000. He also continues to preach with Uni, his horse. He has worked with children's homes in three states and with young people his entire life, both in churches and in schools. The Circuit Riding Preacher travels with Uni to preach to anyone, anywhere. Uni is a five year old Andalusian-Arabian gelding raised and trained by Pastor Woodside. He is used to teach Bible principles and truths through illustrations. The uniqueness of this ministry has seen many lives changed and many souls saved.
The FHC Ranch is in Loving Memory of TJ Woodside Jr. He went to be with the LORD on Dec. 13, 2007 when he was 19 years old. The FHC Ranch is TJ's hearts desire and dream.
